The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
