Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And those that lift and bear away heavy weights; 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the heaven containing pathways, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 Let whoever wishes, turn away from Our Quran. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord gives them, because, before then, they lived a good life. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
