AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
