Therefore, remind. By the Favor of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor mad. 29 Or do they say, 'He is a poet for whom we await Fate's uncertainty'? 30 Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe. 33 Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain! 36 Do they own the treasures of your Lord, or have they been given charge of them? 37 Or do they have a ladder (climbing which) they can hear (the secrets of heaven)? Let one who has heard then bring a clear proof. 38 Or has He daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are over-burdened by debt? 40 Or have they the unseen so that they write (it) down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than God? Exalted be God over what they ascribe as partners [to Him]! 43 If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, "A mass of clouds," 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 and proclaim the praise of thy Lord in the night, and at the declining of the stars. 49
