Nay! By the moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning to mankind, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 except those of the right hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 From the guilty. 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir). Sent down in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
