(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 Therefore stay patient upon your Lord’s command, and do not listen to any of the sinners or ingrates among them. 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day. 27 We created them and strengthened their joints; and whenever We wish, We can change their faces entirely. 28 Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He maketh whomsoever He listeth to enter His mercy. And the wrong-doers! for them He hath gotten ready a torment afflective. 31
