And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 for We did vouchsafe them Our messages, but they obstinately turned their backs upon them 81 They would carve secure houses out of the mountains. 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Indeed, your Lord - He is the Knowing Creator. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 So, by your Lord, We would most certainly question them all, 92 About their deeds. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 We are surely sufficient to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
