The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is folded up, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 and when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 And when the pages are made public 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 that hide, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 obeyed by (all creatures) and faithful to His trust. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 and he is not one to begrudge others the knowledge [of whatever has been revealed to him] out of that which is beyond the reach of human Perception. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
