The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
