Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]? 1 (Some) faces on that day shall be downcast, 2 labouring, toilworn, 3 they shall burn in a Scorching Fire; 4 They will be given to drink from a boiling spring, 5 There is no food for them except thorns of fire. 6 which neither sustains, nor satisfy hunger. 7 [And] some faces will on that Day shine with bliss, 8 Glad for their effort past, 9 In a lofty Paradise. 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 Wherein are couches raised 13 And goblets ready placed! 14 and cushions arrayed 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 What, do they not consider how the camel was created, 17 how the heavens are raised up high, 18 And at the mountains, how firmly they are reared? 19 how the earth was outstretched? 20 Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. 21 You are not at all a guardian over them. 22 But whoever will turn away (from the Truth), 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us they will all return. 25 In Our hands are their accounts. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
