In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 Hath created man from a clot! 2 Read, and your Lord only is the Most Beneficent, 3 Who hath taught mankind by the pen 4 taught man what he did not know! 5 Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, 6 whenever he believes himself to be self-sufficient: 7 Surely to your Lord is your return. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 A servant when he prays? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 Or enjoineth piety? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 Let him beware! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock -- 15 A forelock that lies, is sinful. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)! 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
