The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
