The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
