Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAVE YOU SEEN him who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe, then, to those who pray, 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
