Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and, withal, deny all assistance [to their fellow-men]! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
