And verily We sent Moses with Our revelations and a clear warrant 96 Towards Firaun and his court members, thereupon they followed the commands of Firaun; and the work of Firaun was not proper. 97 He shall stand at the head of his people on the Day of Resurrection, and will bring them down to the Fire. What a wretched destination to be led to! 98 seeing that they were pursued by [God's] rejection in this [world,] and [shall be finally overtaken by it] on the Day of Resurrection; [and] vile was the gift which they were given! 99 That is from the stories of the cities which We recount unto thee: of them some are standing and some mown down. 100 We did not wrong them; they wronged themselves. When your Lord's chastisement descended upon them, their gods, on whom they called apart from God, were not of the least avail, and all they did was only to add to their destruction. 101 And thus is the seizure of your Lord when He seizes the cities while they are committing wrong. Indeed, His seizure is painful and severe. 102 In that is a sign for him who fears the punishment of the Hereafter. That is a Day for which mankind shall be gathered together, a Day when all will be present. 103 We will only postpone it until a predetermined time, 104 On the Day of Judgment no one will speak without the permission of God. Some will be condemned and others blessed. 105 As for those who are wretched, they will be in the Fire, sighing in a high and low tone. 106 [They will be] abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will. Indeed, your Lord is an effecter of what He intends. 107 ۞ And as for those who are blessed, they shall abide in the Garden as long as the heavens and the earth endure, unless your Lord may will otherwise. They shall enjoy an unceasing gift. 108 So be not in doubt (O Muhammad SAW) as to what these (pagans and polytheists) men worship. They worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before (them). And verily, We shall repay them in full their portion without diminution. 109
