VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And We shall have removed whatsoever of grudge may be in their breasts: brethren they; sitting upon couches facing each other. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 and that My punishment is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
