۞ Those who do not hope to meet Us say: "Why are no angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" They are full of self-conceit and behave with intense arrogance. 21 Upon the day that they see the angels, no good tidings that day for the sinners; they shall say, 'A ban forbidden!' 22 We shall advance upon what work they have done, and make it a scattered dust. 23 (On the contrary) only those who have deserved the Garden, will have a good abode on that Day and a cool place for midday rest. 24 The Day the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and angels shall be sent down, descending (in ranks),- 25 the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Oh, woe is me! Would that I had not taken so-and-so for a friend! 28 He led me astray from the Remembrance after it had reached me, satan is ever the foresaker of humans' 29 And the messenger saith: O my Lord! Lo! mine own folk make this Qur'an of no account. 30 thus did We assign to every prophet an enemy from among the sinners; your Lord is sufficient as a guide and a helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say: Why has not the Quran been revealed to him all at once? Thus, that We may strengthen your heart by it and We have arranged it well in arranging. 32 And they will never bring you an example, but We shall bring you a true narration and better than it. 33 Those who will be dragged on their faces towards hell – theirs is the worst destination and they are the most astray. 34
