The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
