Say: "Call on those you imagine are gods apart from God. They are not masters even of an atom's weight in the heavens and the earth, nor do they have a share in them, nor is any one of them a helper (of God). 22 Intercession with Him will not help, except for him to whom He gives permission. When terror is lifted from their hearts, they shall say: 'What did your Lord say' 'The truth' they shall answer. 'He is the Most High, the Great' 23 ۞ Say, "Who provides you with sustenance from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "It is God. Only one group among us has the true guidance. The others must certainly be in plain error". 24 Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do." 25 Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and judge between us equitably, for He is the Judge all-knowing." 26 Say: 'Show me those you have joined to Him as associates. No indeed; rather He is God, the All-mighty, the All-wise.' 27 NOW [as for thee, O Muhammad,] We have not sent thee otherwise than to mankind at large, to be a herald of glad tidings and a warner; but most people do not understand [this,] 28 Instead they say: "When is this promise going to be, if you speak the truth?" 29 Say: "Determined is the day of the promise, which you can neither put back nor advance an hour.'' 30
