Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
