▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 preferring the present life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
