The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Clatterer! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
