We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
