Victory (Al-Fatt-h)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Truly, We have granted you a clear victory 1 That Allah may forgive your community their past faults and those to follow and complete His favor to you and keep you on a right way, 2 And that Allah may help thee with strong help - 3 It was He who sent down tranquillity into the hearts of the believers, to add faith to their faith -- the forces of the heavens and earth belong to Him; He is all knowing and all wise -- 4 [and] that He might admit the believers, both men and women, into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide, and that He might efface their [past bad] deeds: and that is, in the sight of God, indeed a triumph supreme! 5 so that He would punish the hypocrites and the pagans who have evil suspicions about God. It is they who are surrounded by evil and have become subject to the wrath and condemnation of God. He has prepared for them hell, a terrible place to live. 6 And to Allah only belong the armies of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Most Honourable, Wise. 7 Verily We! We have sent thee as a witness and a bearer of glad tidings and a warner. 8 so that you believe in Allah and His Messenger and that you support him, revere him (Prophet Muhammad), and exalt Him (Allah), at the dawn and in the evening. 9 Lo! those who swear allegiance unto thee (Muhammad), swear allegiance only unto Allah. The Hand of Allah is above their hands. So whosoever breaketh his oath, breaketh it only to his soul's hurt; while whosoever keepeth his covenant with Allah, on him will He bestow immense reward. 10
