If they call you a liar, tell them, "Let each one of us follow his own way. You will not be responsible for what I do and I will not be responsible for what you do". 41 Of them some seem to give heed to you; will you, then, make the deaf hear even though they understand nothing? 42 And of them some look towards you; will you, then, guide the blind, even though they can see nothing? 43 Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul. 44 And the day He shall muster them, as if they had not tarried but an hour of the day, mutually recognizing one another; lost will be those who cried lies to the encounter with God, and were not guided. 45 And whether We shew thee some of that which We have promised them, or We cause thee to die, unto us is their return, and Allah is witness of that which they do. 46 And for every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a Messenger; when their Messenger comes, the matter will be judged between them with justice, and they will not be wronged. 47 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 48 Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)." 49 Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day - for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?" 50 Besides, if He was to send them the punishment which they want to quickly experience, would they then have faith? 51 The unjust will be told, "Suffer the everlasting torment. Do you expect a recompense other than what you deserve? 52 And they ask you: Is that true? Say: Aye! by my Lord! it is most surely the truth, and you will not escape. 53
