And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 Remember also Our servants Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhul Kifl; each is among the excellent. 48 This is an advice; and indeed for the pious is an excellent abode. 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other similar torments. 58 (Observing their followers advancing to Hell they will say, among themselves: “This is a troop rushing in to you. There is no welcome for them. They are destined to roast in the Fire.” 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: "What is the matter with us that we see not men whom we used to count among the bad ones?" 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
