The Poets (Alshu'araa')
227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the illustrious Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not look at the earth, how We caused a variety of fine vegetation to grow from it (in abundance)? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
