The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
