Al-nahl 7 of 16
۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 His is whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and obedience to Him inevitably pervades the whole universe. Will you, then, hold in awe any other than Allah? 52 And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help. 53 Yet, when He removes the distress from you, behold! some of you turn to other gods to join with their Lord- 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 And they appoint for that which they knew not a portion of that wherewith We have provided them. By Allah! ye will surely be questioned regarding that which ye have been fabricating. 56 They ascribe daughters to God, God is too Exalted to have daughters, but they can have whatever they want. 57 and when any of them is given the good tidings of a girl, his face is darkened and he chokes inwardly, 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 [Thus it is that] the attribute of evil applies to all who do not believe in the life to come - whereas unto God applies the attribute of all that is most sublime: for He alone is almighty, truly wise! 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
