Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
