In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
