And indeed We saved the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment, 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Even then they say: 34 'There is nothing but our first death; we shall not be revived. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba? And those who were before them? We destroyed them; they were indeed criminals. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We created them not save with truth; but most of them know not. 39 Verily the Day of Distinction is the term appointed for all of them. 40 A Day whereon a friend shall not avail a friend at all, nor shall they be helped. 41 save those to whom God shows mercy. Surely, He is the Mighty, the Merciful One. 42
