The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
