Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Register well-protected; 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
