Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 separating one from another, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 excusing or warning, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 for an appointed term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
