T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down the Koran upon thee for thee to be unprosperous, 2 But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allah] - 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 The Most Compassionate Lord is settled on the Throne (of the Universe). 5 To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: "Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire, perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 But when he came close to it, a voice called out: "O Moses! 11 Verily I! I am thy Lord: so take off thy shoes; verily thou art into the holy valley, Tuwa. 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 Do not let anyone who does not believe in it and follows his own desires turn you away from it and so bring you to ruin." 16 What is that in your right hand, Moses' 17 He said: This is my staff: I recline on it and I beat the leaves with it to make them fall upon my sheep, and I have other uses for it. 18 Allah said: cast it down, O Musa! 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state. 21 "Now - as another Sign - place your hand under your arm and it will come out sheer white without harm (or stain). 22 "In order that We may show thee (two) of our Greater Signs. 23 "[And now] go thou unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity. 24
