The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
