۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
