Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
