Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a known calculated term. 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
