The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
