The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
