VERILY, [O believer,] it is We who have bestowed from on high this Qur'an upon thee, step by step - truly a bestowal from on high! 23 Therefore wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one. 24 and bear in mind thy Sustainer's name at morn and evening 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills; indeed Allah is All Knowing, Wise. 30 He will admit to His Mercy whom He will; But the wrong-doers,- for them has He prepared a grievous Penalty. 31
