Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
