Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
