Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 then he who transgressed 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
