And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair – the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. Every one of them is among the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be maidens of equal age with modest gaze. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 All this; so let them taste it - boiling water and pus, 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
