Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
