By no means! By the moon, 32 By the receding night 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 Warn the men. 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 About the criminals, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
